Inman Square’s Momi Nonmi is not a sushi restaurant, although there are typically a few sashimi options available among the grilled skewers, rice balls, and other izakaya fare. But chef and owner Chris Chung was known for his sushi skills at Uni and his now-closed Lincoln restaurant, Aka Bistro, and he’s getting back into the sushi game a bit while Momi Nonmi is limited to takeout and delivery. A take-home omakase meal is available for pickup between 6 and 9 p.m. daily except Wednesday; on Wednesday, it’s available for delivery instead. There are three sizes, each meant for two people: $100 (“standard fish and simple preparations,” about nine or 10 courses); $150 (“a few more items, more interesting preparations,” about 12 or 13 courses and “more premium fish with at least one or two toro courses”); and $200 (“a few more items with gourmet items, for example, toro, ora king salmon, and special fish that we receive this week,” about 14 or 15 courses.) There are also a la carte options on the takeout menu.
Order: Omakase orders must be placed a day in advance. Call (617) 945-7328.
